Cælestis is dedicated entirely to World Wildlife Fund

Cælestis is the first nonprofit charitable and educational association which collects funds for WWF on the international level by organizing charity auctions of Cælestis ecological luxury products (Grand Cru Classé, perfumes ...) and other precious items on three continents with the collaboration of celebrities. Also, we like to draw public attention to the environmental impact of production and consumption and we invite schools, institutions, enterprises, media and individuals to join us and participate in this international environmental collaborative project.

Cælestis is also the first dedicated brand (non-commercial) ever created in the long history of Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés (whose first classification
in the Médoc dates back to the Napoleonic times in 1855) (3).

Cælestis is elaborated from the prestigious Château Fonroque Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé
biodynamic wine from a region recognized as a World Heritage by the UNESCO (4).

This fine wine is a rarity because among a total of 176 Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés (Classified Growths), there are only
3 biodynamic Grands Crus Classés wines (barely 2.27% of the Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés wines are organic) (5).

The wine is made by a renowned producer and oenologist Alain Moueix (6) who for several years has undertaken to go further than
organic viticulture and reaches for the stars for inspiration.

Cælestis honors all efforts of the WWF to protect the environment on which depends the future of humanity.

For the first charity auction sales in 2012 we offered 15 bottles to share between 3 continents of the vintage 2009 considered as the best Bordeaux vintage in recent times (7).
In 2013 we offered the vintage 2010 and in 2015 the vintage 2011.
